Benalla Aviation Museum offers a unique look at Australia’s armed forces air training, from the old home of a WW2 RAAF pilot training facility. Interesting attractions include an assortment of military training aircraft, several of which are completely operational and available for joy flights.

The Benalla Costume and Kelly Museum is the one costume museum of its kind. Managed totally by volunteers of the Benalla Historical Society Inc and is a marvellous example of how the talents associated with an enthusiastic and skilled group can be of high quality. The museum has costumes and local records, including Ned Kelly’s story.

Shepparton Art Museum has lively exhibitions that include curated, neighbourhood and foreign exhibitions. The Shepparton Art Museum proudly shows a long lasting exhibition that instructs the story of ceramics, in addition to the Art Museum’s collection of Australian artwork.

Started in 1962 as the Shepparton Historical Society, Shepparton Heritage Centre Inc promoted and preserved days gone by of our city, and encircling areas. We have regular openings as listed in other places, and hold monthly group meetings that incorporate social activities with administration.

Shepparton Motor Museum & Collectibles owns a quantity of vehicles generously donated to the museum. Some shows are unique having come from private collectors and restorers. The museum’s collection is always changing and themed exhibits are rotating through the museum.
